Goodfella was the first song I ever wrote, performed and recorded. I wrote this song as a way to not only pay tribute to my good friend, Shaughn, who tragically took his own life. But it also was a way to help me process his passing in a way that preserve his memory of him alive.

This updated version of Goodfella is, in my opinion, the quintessential version to hear. It's more stripped down and emotional as it reflects more of myself remembering all the memories I have of Shaughn. This track also features more production values and complexities in the musicianship compared to the previous version that brings a more emotional punch to the listener.

Goodfella is a charity single where 100% of the proceeds will be going towards the Shaughn Memorial Fund at Concordia University of Edmonton. This fund helps create expand successful mental health programs, pilot some new ones, provide services to help students directly to make positive mental health choices, and identify those in distress.
